NAIROBI September 25, 2018 – Stanbic Bank Kenya has been recognised as the best investment bank in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania at the prestigious EMEA Finance Awards 2018.
The bank was named the best local investment bank in Kenya as well as the best foreign investment bank in Kenya (jointly with Citi Bank, JP Morgan and Standard Chartered Bank). The bank also emerged as the best investment bank in Tanzania and Uganda. The EMEA Finance Awards celebrate excellence in the finance industry across Europe, Middle East and Africa.

The EMEA Finance awards add to recent recognition of Stanbic Bank Kenya. For three years in a row – 2015, 2016, and 2017 – the bank has been named Best Private Bank in Kenya at the Global Private Banking Awards. In 2017, the bank scooped the Best Trade Finance Bank and the Best Foreign Exchange Bank at the Global Finance Awards; as well as the Best Treasury and Cash Management Bank in the Bankers Association for Finance and Trade.
